Because of the good ecological environment, abundant natural enemies of pests, light occurrence of konjac pests and diseases, and less use of pesticides, there are unique conditions for the production of pollution-free and pollution-free natural ’green’ food. The suitable planting area for konjac is the two alpine areas with an altitude of about 1000 meters. In this area, there are 200,000 mu of arable land suitable for the development of konjac cultivation in the county, and the soil is fertile, organic matter content is high, relatively flat, concentrated, easy to scale production. There are more than 5,000 mu of high-quality and high-yield planting base of konjac now, with annual output of 15 million tons, abundant raw material advantages and food processing cost advantages, providing rich and cheap raw materials for the construction of green nutritional food factory of konjac.

Taro chips, taro silk, refined powder and other products have good domestic and foreign market prospects. At present, the processing of Amorphophallus konjac in Hefeng is a small workshop production, which has not formed industrialized production. The products lack market competitiveness and can not meet the market demand. In order to make full use of the advantages of characteristic agricultural resources, improve the quality of characteristic agriculture, cultivate the growth point of agricultural economic development, increase the economic income of farmers, comprehensively promote the construction of a new socialist countryside, and introduce the processing of Amorphophallus konjac food. The factory is necessary. Hefeng County is an eco-agricultural county, and the processing industry of agricultural by-products is the key industry in Hefeng County‘s industrial planning. 2.Market analysis: the purpose of the project is to extract high purity konjac glucomannan from the common konjac flour with the patented technology.
