① Qingdao Ruiyuan Biomedical Project: Qingdao Ruiyuan Biomedical Co., Ltd., jointly funded by Qingdao Changyang Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and DeWe Holding Group Co., Ltd, is mainly engaged in the research and development of biomedical and health products, the development, consultancy, service, transfer of biotechnologies, and the wholesaling and retailing of Class I medical devices, general mechanical equipment and chemical raw materials. With a total investment 553 million yuan, the project covers an area of 298 mu (19.87 hectares), which is equivalent to 1.84 million yuan/mu (27.83 million dollar/ha). The project was signed in August 2017. The address for the project has been selected and the industrial and commercial registration has been completed. Now, the project is going through the approval procedure of the National Development and Reform Commission and the environmental impact assessment. ② Qingdao Hainuo Bioengineering Co., Ltd. is located in Qingdao Jiangshan Foreign Trade Industrial Park on the beautiful Shandong Peninsula. The company was founded in 2000 with a registered capital of 20 million yuan, covering an area of 386 mu (25.73 hectares). The company is committed to the development, production and sale of medical devices (Classes I, II and III), disinfection products, cosmetics and labor protection products as well as the research and development of biotechnologies. The company is a Qingdao high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production and sale. Currently, the company boasts modern factory buildings, purification workshops (Class 300000) and logistics storage facilities that meet international standards; it is also equipped with internationally advanced production equipment, laboratories (Class 10000) and sophisticated testing instruments. With over 1,300 employees including experts, professors and licensed pharmacists from the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, the company is highly capable of R&D. It has also entered into long-term partnership with many research institutions and enterprises in Taiwan, Germany and the United States for technical support and cooperation. At present, Hainuo Group has more than 20 employees with PhD degrees for whom a "PhD workstation" has been established. “Global Experts,” “Taishan Scholars” and other high-end talents are working together for the great development of Hainuo Group. In the past three years, the company has been developing very rapidly. The 2014 total sales were 83.83 million yuan, with 4.79 million yuan paid in tax; in 2015, the total sales were 93.31 million yuan, with 6.23 million yuan paid in tax; in 2016, the total sales reached 126.71 million yuan, with 8.25 million yuan paid in tax. The sales of cartoon band aids produced by the company rank first across China. The series of band aid products produced by the company ranked in 2016. Since its establishment in 2000, Hainuo has always been adhering to the principle of “providing the most valuable health products, benefiting more people and saving more lives”; upholding the Hainuo spirit of "being united as one, creating excellence and serving the people"; aiming to build a national brand; and promoting innovation in concepts technologies, management and mechanisms. In the past 16 years, the company has developed rapidly and made remarkable achievements. From a small domestic company located in the rural area to a large international company, Hainuo has made great strides. Since its establishment, the company has established more than 20 subsidiaries involved in multiple areas such as medical devices, cosmetics, nursing supplies and daily necessities, and grown rapidly in each of them. In 2008, Hainuo joined hands with Warner Bros. Entertainment to make the popular cartoon images Tom and Jerry endorse Hainuo products. The traditional band aid is applied directly on the wound. Although it can be used to protect the wound in a timely manner, the wound is very likely to be infected without sterilization. Under these circumstances, the company released a combination of disinfection cotton sticks and band aids that achieves simultaneous disinfection and protection. Because China is a vast country with varied climates from the north to the south, Hainuo is also working with the Qingdao University of Science and Technology to make adhesive products resistant to cold in the north and to sweat in the south. In terms of adhesive spreading, the dot and wave spreading technologies improve the adhesiveness of the dressing and the air permeability of the skin. Hainuo will focus on the development of functional medical dressings in the future. In recent years, Hainuo has applied for nearly 20 national patents, which effectively protect the interests of the company. Facing the ever-increasing market competition, Hainuo’s employees believe that a brand must be recognized by its users and the market, and that it can only be built and maintained through excellent services. Therefore, Hainuo regards after-sales service as an important measure to create, publicize, maintain and develop the brand. It is the consumers’ recognition and loyalty that has been promoting the rapid development of Hainuo. The company’s sales channels are distributed all over the country, covering nearly 100,000 pharmacies. The company’s products have entered 90% of the top 100 chain pharmacies across China; Nepstar, Dashenlin and LBX Pharmacy all take the company’s products as their first choice, and the company maintains close cooperation with large-scale pharmaceutical enterprises such as Sinopharm Group and Jointown Pharmaceutical Group. At present, the company has more than 100 front-line sales managers, for whom the company hires domestically renowned marketing experts to conduct sales training every year based on the features of marketing jobs, so that they can better understand business and the market and become business representatives with Chinese characteristics. The company implements a brand building strategy by constantly improving the quality of its products.
