This project will cover an area of 2.3 square kilometers, with the aim of attracting enterprises that manufacture engine parts, such as cylinder blocks, cylinder covers, pistons, oil sump tanks, supercharger, generators, flywheels, flywheel shields, gear boxes, crankshafts and camshafts; enterprises that design mechanical parts for engines; and enterprises that produce raw materials and components for engines. It will help develop the upstream and downstream industries related to engine manufacturing and form an industrial chain. 1) Transportation: Baiyun District is only 20 minutes’ drive from Longdongbu International Airport. The 210th National Road, the Second Ring Road, the Huancheng Expressway and Lanzhou–Haikou Highway pass through the district, and the Chongqing-Guiyang Railway, the Guiyang-Guangzhou, Chengdu-Guiyang and many other railway lines converge here. Light Railway Lines 2 and 4 (both currently under construction) and the urban express railways connect Baiyun District and the Old Guiyang City with other areas. Guizhou Aluminum Logistics, Pinjun Logistics, Fuyuantong Logistics and Qiye Logistics are operating in this district. 2) Resource: There are currently two locations for the Engine Manufacturing Industrial Park. The first is located south of Gaona Road, north of Liyang Road and west of Yansha Avenue, covering an area of 2.3 square kilometers, mainly composed of industrial land and partly of commercial land, storage and logistics sites, high-pressure corridor protection green belts. The second is located south of Maisha Avenue, north of Huancheng Expressway, east of Baiyun North Road and west of Qinglong Avenue, covering an area of about 1.49 square kilometers, mainly composed of industrial land and partly of public green spaces. Industries: The infrastructure of the park has been completed and the surrounding road network and production factors are in place. Some enterprises have begun operating in the park, such as Huaheng Machinery, Dazhong Rubber, Dadongfeng Machinery and Yongqing Instruments & Electronics. The park features a relatively favorable industrial foundation.
